Police allege he also stabbed the toddler’s mother, Pashun Jeffery, more than 100 times before allegedly killing his son.

Police declared the boy missing after finding the body of his mother in her apartment on March 30.

They found his body inside the jaws of an alligator in Lake Maggiore the following day.

St Petersburg Police Chief Anthony Holloway said the toddler’s body was found intact.

The alligator was shot and killed by a St Petersburg detective.
