Police launched an investigation after receiving 43 reports of tyres being slashed in the Kingsgrove area on September 15.

A 41-year-old man was arrested by ACT Police at Canberra Airport yesterday.

He appeared in ACT Magistrates Court today, where an application for extradition to NSW was granted.

The man, who had a warrant out for his arrest, was then taken to Queanbeyan Police Station in NSW, where he was charged with 43 counts of damaging or destroying property.

The man was refused bail and will appear before Queanbeyan Local Court tomorrow.
