THE line-up for next year’s Reading and Leeds Festival has supposedly been ‘leaked online’.
The events typically take place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday.
On Reddit, a poster apparently revealing the line-up for the next festival has been doing the rounds.
However, it’s important to stress this is not an official announcement from the Leeds Fest team and could well be a fake mock-up poster created by a fan.
Regardless, festival goers have been left excited by names, including Linkin Park, Chappell Roan and Post Malone.
This is in addition to The Foo Fighters, who have been speculated to headline the annual event.
Formed in Seattle in 1994,The Foo Fighters comprises lead vocalist Dave Grohl, bass player Nate Mendel as well as guitarists Chris Shiftlett and Pat Smear.
Rounding out the band’s line-up are keyboard player Rami Jaffee and drummer Josh Freese.
Earlier this month, Dave Grohl opened up about having fathered a child “outside of his marriage”.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the 55-year-old musician penned: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
“I love my wife and my children and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.
“We’re grateful for your consideration to all children involved as we move forward together.”
In 2022, the group faced the tragic loss of their longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died aged just 50.
A statement from the band at the time read: “His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with us forever.
“Our hearts go out to his wife, children, and family, and we ask that their privacy be treated with the utmost respect in this unimaginably difficult time.”
Meanwhile, The Foo Fighters‘ many accolades include 15 Grammy Awards, which has seen them win Best Rock Album five times.
This particular distinction places them among the most successful rock acts in Grammy history.
Other performers mentioned on the “leaked poster” are Becky Hill, Bastille, Yung Filly and Noah Kahan among others.
The next Reading and Leeds Festival is expected to take place in August 2025.
