The 39-year-old undertook a roadside drug test where he allegedly tested positive for cocaine.

His driver’s licence was also suspended.

The man allegedly resisted arrest and struck an officer on the helmet, which led to the struggle caught on camera.

He was taken to Bankstown Hospital and was charged with multiple offences including assaulting police and breach of bail.

He is due to appear in Bankstown court today.
