A man has suffered head injuries and a suspected broken arm while allegedly resisting arrest in Sydney.
Video posted to social media showed an officer appearing to hit a man with a baton before other officers tackled him to the ground and arrested him in Chester Hill yesterday.
NSW Police said they were patrolling Miller Road when a Toyota Hilux allegedly made an illegal U-turn.
The 39-year-old undertook a roadside drug test where he allegedly tested positive for cocaine.
His driver’s licence was also suspended.

The man allegedly resisted arrest and struck an officer on the helmet, which led to the struggle caught on camera.
He was taken to Bankstown Hospital and was charged with multiple offences including assaulting police and breach of bail.
He is due to appear in Bankstown court today.
