Kate Middleton, Prince William share sweet photo of Prince Louis on 6th birthday

Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a new photo of their youngest son Prince Louis in honor of his 6th birthday Tuesday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales took to social media to share a sweet snap of their youngest son on his special day.

“Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! 🎂 Thank you for all the kind wishes today,” they captioned the image shared on X and Instagram, which shows Louis smiling while lying down on a picnic blanket in the grass.

The proud parents are marking Louis’ 6th birthday with a “private party,” The Post revealed.

The royals are making sure that his special day will be “as normal and as much fun” as possible considering the difficult few months the family has been faced with.

“With Kate’s health — and knowing what Kate is like as a person — she wants her son to have the best birthday possible, like any mother,” a palace insider told The Post.

“She’s still going to try to make sure the day is as normal and as much fun for that child as possible, especially when they’re of that young age.”

It’s the first royal birthday to take place since news of Middleton and King Charles’s respective cancer diagnoses came to light earlier this year.

Middleton, 42, is currently in the thick of her cancer treatment following her diagnosis.

In March, she revealed that she’s undergoing chemotherapy.

Charles, 75, for his part, revealed his cancer diagnosis in February.

It’s understood that Middleton decided to share the news with the world that particular day as it was before her and William’s three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, left school for Easter break.

The Post revealed that the Waleses “sugarcoated” her health woes when breaking the news to their youngest son Louis, but had a more “difficult” conversation with George and Charlotte.

As the royal undergoes treatment, her parents, Michael, 74, and Carole Middleton, 69, are stepping in to support their grandchildren during this fraught time.

Last year, the Waleses marked Louis’ birthday by sharing two new photos of the little one out and about in the yard.

The proud parents posted the adorable pictures taken by accomplished portrait photographer Millie Pilkington on their social media accounts, showing Louis smiling in a blue sweater and shorts as his mom pushes him in a wheelbarrow outdoors.

“Someone’s turning 5 tomorrow… 🎂 🥳,” the couple captioned their post. “A very happy birthday to Prince Louis.”

Louis’ birthday comes just days before his sister Princess Charlotte turns 9 on May 2.

William, 41, and Middleton also share son Prince George, who will celebrate his 11th birthday on July 22.
