JoJo Siwa and her family are safe following a scary home invasion earlier this week.
The social media star has shared some updates after her home in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, was burglarized in the early hours of Monday, May 15. She revealed that she was not home at the time of the invasion and dropped a troubling CCTV showing the masked men working their way through the vast property.

Although law enforcement responded to a call triggered by an alarm company around 2:40 AM on Monday, the armed culprits had already taken off when they arrived. However, sources informed TMZ that authorities discovered an open door at the expensive home, which they believed the robbers used to access Siwa’s house.
Even though it was revealed that multiple designer handbags were carted away, the total value of what was taken remains unclear, as nobody was home at the time of the invasion. The 19-year-old celeb confirmed the incident in a series of Snapchat updates, which were reshared via a fan page on Instagram.
Per the tape released, two yet-to-be-identified individuals gained access to her mansion after they smashed a glass door that led to her dining room. Once in, they went upstairs, where they entered the “Nickelodeon’s Ultimate Halloween Costume Party” star’s bedroom and later into her parents’ bedroom.
After a few minutes of rummaging through the rooms, the criminals returned downstairs with arms full of designer backpacks and handbags, escaping through the front door, which they left ajar. Despite the “very scary” situation, Siwa, who is on a cruise with friends, expressed her gratitude that her “family and pups are safe.”
“It was a REALLLLLY long night on the phone with my security, family, and LAPD. And then I couldn’t fall back asleep after. Was about 2 hours on the phone, then lots more just laying there thinking,” the big-time vlogger continued in another update before instructing her followers:
“Do me a favor and hug your people extra tight tonight. Life is SCARY. And you never know when anything could happen.”

“Soo sad to hear it but really great full that ur dogs and family are fine!” the fan page (jojosbiggestfan2020) wrote under the slew of screenshots. The post reviewed numerous likes and a handful of comments, including one claim from a netizen that the incident happened because the “Lip Sync Battle Shorties” lead “didn’t lock her freaking door.”
Siwa’s Fans Refused To Be Misled After She Seemingly Hinted At A New Relationship
Siwa recently got her fans talking after sharing a cryptic message about her love life. The Blast reported that she had uploaded a TikTok video where she teased her millions of followers about having a new partner last month.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award recipient began by showcasing her impressive cartwheeling skills as the text “Things I haven’t shown you for the last month” flashed above her happy twirls. The video soon launched a picture montage, which was set to Stephen Sanchez’s 2022 track “Until I Found You.”
The photos, which birthed an impression that Siwa had found love again, did not include evidence of the person she had allegedly fallen for. For example, one image showed the “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” contestant posing with a drink that came with a handwritten message that read, Have a good day. I love you.”
Another pic showcased the “JoJo’s Dream Birthday” star cuddling with one of her dogs alongside the write-up, “He’s saving your spot.” Later, she effused over her mystery lover, sending her a cookie box with the caption, “She took me to my favorite coffee place to cheer me up. I’m obsessed w this girl.”
While several people immediately linked her with TikTok star Kalani Hilliker, others dismissed the notion that she was involved with anybody. In fact, this person informed others, “not to ruin yalls fun but look at today’s date and rethink,” and another claimed, “This is a pretty good April Fools.”
