An alleged serial hoon has been charged with more than 100 offences after being accused of reaching dangerous speeds on a major Melbourne Freeway.

Sushant Mittal allegedly hit speeds of more than 260km/h on the Monash Freeway before allegedly boasting about it online.

The 20 year-old today appeared before Dandenong Magistrates Court on multiple dangerous driving offences and is now facing jail time, if found guilty.

Police from Taskforce Achilles arrested the teenager at his Berwick home in April last year, also seizing a Mercedes AMG.

Today the court heard expert mechanical testing found the luxury vehicle had been modified.

The accused serial hoon has been charged over 12 separate incidents and has been accused of reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury, speed dangerous and racing another vehicle.

The man’s lawyer said his client had a long day in court. (9News)

The court heard his twin brother has also been charged with hoon offences, and on two occasions Sushant allegedly swapped seats with his brother while their car was travelling at speed on the freeway.

The matter will return to court for a further contest mention.
