A woman using the drive-thru at a McDonald’s in Memphis, Tennessee was attacked by another woman who allegedly stabbed her in the face with a screwdriver.
Ashley Davis, 39, is in custody after Memphis Police Department officers arrested her following an alleged assault on the unnamed victim, who was treated at the scene. According to statements the victim reportedly gave to the police on Nov. 20, Davis was looking for money and approached the victim’s stopped vehicle while she was at the speaker box to place her food order, Memphis NBC affiliate WMC-TV reported.
When the victim told Davis she didn’t have any money, Davis allegedly pulled out what the victim believed was a screwdriver, stabbed her in the face, and then said, “You should’ve had money, b—-!” Davis then apparently walked away from the parking lot.

Police responded to the scene and witnessed Davis running down a nearby street. After chasing her, Davis allegedly resisted arrest and physically fought with the officers. She was eventually taken into custody and held at the Shelby County Jail on a $25,000 bond. Davis was charged with aggravated assault and resisting official detention. She is due in court on Dec. 5.
This McDonald’s restaurant, located at 1742 S. Trezevant St. in Memphis, has been involved in several violent crimes, including a fatal shooting on Nov. 14.
