SUPERMODEL Cara Delevingne will today turn into Sir Elton John in a new video for his classic Step Into Christmas.
The Brit, 32, is scheduled to film scenes in London for the festive track, which was originally released in 1973.
The video will feature the Rocket Man legend, now 77, playing the piano in his Seventies pomp before he morphs into his friend Cara.
A source said: “It’s a really fun concept and Cara jumped on the idea when it was first put to her.
“Original footage of Elton from the first video playing and singing at his piano will be used.
“Then Cara will be seen as Elton, dancing and messing around behind the scenes.”

Cara has been at a number of Sir Elton’s concerts over the years, including his epic Glastonbury gig last year — the final UK show of his farewell tour.
Step Into Christmas got to only No24 when it was first released but has since grown in popularity, hitting No2 in the vinyl chart in 2022.
It was named the ninth most-played Christmas song in the Noughties.
The original video featured Sir Elton’s long-time songwriting partner Bernie Taupin.
Before its release, the singer revealed they knocked it out in a pre-Christmas whirlwind.
He said: “We’d never written a song specially tailored to be a single.
“This time we wrote it last Sunday morning, recorded it on the afternoon, and it’ll be out on Friday.”
