Virginia Sex Offender Arrested in Utah Over Inappropriate ‘Truth or Dare’ Games With Pre-teens

A Virginia sex offender was arrested in Utah this week, accused of playing inappropriate games of “truth or dare” with preteen boys.

The victims told police they played truth or dare and another game called the “touch your body challenge” with Robert Paul Walker, which included removal of clothing and performing sexual acts, KUTV reported.

The father of two of the children — all between 10 and 12 years old — told police that he knew Walker was a registered sex offender in Virginia but still let him play with his children, something he now regrets.

Walker, 42, was charged with failing to register as a sex offender in Utah and tampering with a witness, both felonies, and 5 misdemeanor counts of lewdness involving a child, KTVX reported.

The father of the two victims who knew Walker was a sex offender said he’d known him for about nine years. He said he would allow Walker to check his kids out of school and was aware that he had an addiction to child sexual abuse material.

According to police, Walker told the father he had been grooming his kids.

Walker also told two of the victims not to tell anyone about their games or he would go to jail, KUTV said.

Police have asked for no bail in the case, fearing Walker will flee the state since he doesn’t live there.
