A Georgia man calling himself a “witch doctor” was charged this week with raping a woman who came to him to be “cleansed” during a “ritual.”
The Duluth Police Department charged 44-year-old Hassan Shalgheen with rape, sexual battery, false imprisonment, and theft by deception, WXIA reports.
The victim told police she paied Shalgheen $500 for the “ritual” before he removed her clothes and raped her.
Shalgheen was denied bond and remains jailed in Gwinnett County.
