Ray Parlour thinks Arsenal transfer target Kaoru Mitoma is now worth ‘£25 million’ after Brighton paid only ‘£4 million’ for the thriving winger.
Ironically enough, it was the departure of Leandro Trossard from Brighton that allowed Mitoma to earn regular starts at the Amex Stadium and then showcase his talent where he has started to seriously cook under Roberto De Zerbi.
To no one’s surprise, it’s seen the limelight around Mitoma grow and the likes of Arsenal, yes another Brighton player, have shown interest in his services.

At 25-years-old, Mitoma is another player that Brighton have managed to pluck out of thin air, after they snapped him up from the Belgian side, Union SG, and made him look like a world-beater.
Either way, when talking about Brighton’s transfer model, Ray Parlour mentioned Mitoma’s name and how they can triple their price for the winger if they sell him, as he told talkSPORT.
“Brighton is the right model,” said Parlour. “They bring these signings in, then what they do, when they move on, they have got options.

“Right, we are going to buy him. Mitoma, they brought him for £4 million and he will be probably worth £25 million now. If you want to buy Mitoma.”

MITOMA IS AN ‘INCREDIBLE’ TALENT
The Premier League’s all-time leading goalscorer Alan Shearer recently described Mitoma as an ‘incredible’ player and he’s not wrong because he has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season.
A dynamite ball carrier on the left wing, the Japan International is leaving opposition players on the floor and showcasing incredible composure in front of the goal.
That’s probably the most impressive part of Mitoma’s game and he proved that when he scored an ice-cool late winner during Brighton’s stunning stoppage-time win over Liverpool in the FA Cup in January.
