From bikinis to bib overalls.
While Sydney Sweeney’s “Euphoria” character, Cassie Howard, might live in strappy swimwear and flirty dresses, the actress herself is a total tomboy who restores classic cars in her spare time.
Now, the 25-year-old style star has teamed up with Ford and Dickies to create a collection of workwear that looks as good in the repair shop as it does on city sidewalks.
“I’m always in jeans, T-shirts, baseball caps, and still, overalls,” Sweeney — who documented the process of restoring her own 1969 red Ford Bronco on her TikTok account, @syds_garage — told Vogue.
“So when Ford came to me, I was so excited. I wore overalls in the shop every single day when I worked on my Bronco. This is very genuine.”

The capsule is comprised of four utilitarian pieces in a color palette that combines classic khaki with pops of pastel: a Bib Overall ($80), 874 Work Pant ($40), Bandana ($25) and Baseball Cap ($35), the latter cut from soft corduroy.
“We wanted to create pieces for all genders and personalities,” Sweeney said. “This can be a very male-dominated space, and I wanted to design pieces that feel more inclusive and fun.”

As for whether Cassie would be caught dead in the utilitarian duds, the actress joked, “If a boy were restoring a car, she definitely might try.”
This isn’t Sweeney’s first foray into fashion design.
Earlier this month, she partnered with Frankies Bikinis on the label’s “sexiest ever” line of swimsuits.
The range includes her own kiss-print version of the Gemma One-Piece ($180) her character wore in a Season 2 episode of “Euphoria,” sparking a 500-person waitlist for the strappy style.
