Prince Harry has built a whole new life for himself ever since he relocated to the United States with Meghan Markle, but he might not be done talking about the royal family.
Prince Harry has not been close with his family in years. He did say in early 2024 that he loves his family and is “grateful” for them, but despite the words, the actions don’t seem to follow. Harry and his father, King Charles, have reportedly been on decent terms, but Harry supposedly doesn’t speak to his brother, Prince William.
Still, Harry’s connection to the royal family will always exist, and according to one royal expert, the prince could make a major move after his brother takes the throne.
Royal expert predicts Prince Harry will write another book after King Charles dies
Harry released his memoir, “Spare,” back in January 2023. It made plenty of noise, and Harry made plenty of money from telling his story. The book was published a few months after Queen Elizabeth II died, and Harry even claimed at the time that he had enough content to write two books.
But that claim has one royal expert thinking that Harry isn’t kidding about eventually coming out with a second book — but that he wouldn’t do it until after his brother took the throne, likely so as to not disappoint his father. According to Express, expert Kinsey Schofield said on her “Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered” series, “I do think he would write about his family again. He was waiting to publish a book after [Queen Elizabeth died]. Originally, they were saying there was going to be another publication after the [late] Queen died.”
Schofield thinks that Harry wouldn’t have anything to lose if he published another book after his father died because it seems that he and his brother won’t ever be on great terms. “I suspect that maybe he would release a book after his father passed away,” she said. “Especially if Prince William continues to keep him at arm’s length. Because what would the repercussions be if Prince William pushed you out of the fold?”

There have been small steps made between Harry and Charles to repair their royal rift. Lately, there have even been rumors flying that Charles could make a stopover in California at some point this year, though nothing has been confirmed. But things between Harry and William don’t seem to have made much improvement.
Harry and William first saw tension back when Harry started dating Meghan Markle. Apparently, William thought Harry was rushing into things with his now-wife, and it caused problems between the two men. They still haven’t recovered, and while there is always potential to work things out, it’s hard to see a situation where it actually happens.
