Tim Silvers, the CEO of Adelaide, has publicly apologized to Eddie Betts and expressed his feeling that the illustrious AFL star had been “brainwashed” by the infamous Crows’ 2018 preseason camp.
Silvers confessed that he had texted Betts on Wednesday morning after a chapter from the planned autobiography, “The Boy from Boomerang Crescent,” was published.
“It’s sad to hear Eddie write that, because he’s been one of the greats of the football club…”
Marl Ricciuto responded to the comments made by Eddie Betts about Adelaide’s 2018 pre-season camp.

In it, Betts claimed that he had experienced “disrespectful” and “weird” counselling techniques like cultural appropriation and mind control.
When specifically asked whether Betts answered and what the response was, Silvers responded that it was a “private chat.”
Without Silvers present, the now-famous 2018 preseason camp occurred when it is alleged that the Richmond theme music was played continually throughout a training session.
Betts alleges that he was once put in a body harness with a rope attached and told to fight his way to a knife to cut himself free while being verbally assaulted by camp employees.
