Patricia Vitale is the director and owner of Studio Kids at Little River, the educational provision where the miserable event transpired. On 3 February 2023, an educator posted pictures of the children on a school messaging app, which is how the parents know about the incident.
The picture’s caption stated that it was with consideration to be “Black history month.” and 2 students were portrayed in the photograph, one as a construction worker and another as a police officer.
Their traits appeared to have also been decorated a dark shade of brown. Parents instantly charged the educator with using blackface.

For those who do not know about it, blackface refers to the use of dark makeup by a non-Black or white person to insult, replicate, or otherwise make fun of the features of a Black person.
One of the parents named Courtney Politis reportedly texted Patricia Vitale about the occurrence but she couldn’t understand why the makeup incident was racist and responded with sorry?
After taking a lot of intensity, the director, and owner of Studio Kids Patricia wrote a letter to the parents apologizing for any problems and assuring them that they had not intended to insult and replicate anyone.
A few days later, Patricia sent another letter to the parents defining a strategy for preventing these kinds of events in the future.
