Joe Trohman, Fall Out Boy’s founding guitarist, shared a note on social media on Wednesday 18 January 2023 saying he’s taking a break from the band.
Earlier in the day, the Fall Out Boy band announced their upcoming 18th album So Much (For) Stardust coming on 24 March 2023, and released the LP’s 1st single Love From the Other Side.
Without revealing all the details, he said, he must divulge that his mental health has rapidly deteriorated over the past several years, so he will be taking a break from work.
Joe has been with the Fall Out Boy band since its early 2000s emergence in the suburbs of Chicago, alongside singer Patrick Stump, drummer Andy Hurley, and bassist Pete Wentz.
