Deepak Ratan (Born: 26 September 1973; Died: 15 May 2023) was an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
On 15 May 2023, IPS Deepak Ratan died of cardiac arrest in Delhi while he was on deputation in the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force). He died at the age of 50.
Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences over the IPS officer’s sudden demise.
In Deepak Ratan’s condolence note on Twitter, the Uttar Pradesh Police said:
