The 72-year-old man was allegedly trapped by a young college-going girl named Darshana Bharali, who lured him into having a physical relationship with her.
She then secretly recorded his private video on an adult site, due to which the man ended his life. The incident is in Dhekelia village in the Jorhat district of Assam. The accused girl is a student at a top college in the same city.

After the suicide, the women of the village protested against Darshana and later she was arrested by the local police along with her companions. At the same time, another video of the same girl was also going viral on social media.
Addressing this, the police officer mentioned that they have seized a laptop and mobile phone and sent them for investigation, which will reveal more about the case.
Reports had surfaced that Darshana might have uploaded over 500 intimate videos of her with different men on adult websites to blackmail them.
