“The Cosby Show” alum Lisa Bonet has filed for divorce from “Aquaman” actor Jason Momoa after two years of splitting from each other. They announced their split in January 2022.
56 years old Lisa asked the judge for a dissolution of marriage. Lisa and Jason had been together for 12 years and married for only 5 years. The couple shares a 16-year-old daughter Lola Lolani Momoa, and a 15-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa.
Lisa is requesting to judge for joint physical and legal custody of her children but she is not ready for spousal support.
Lisa Bonet Divorce Jason Momoa after 2 Years of Split
Lisa and Jason announced their separation via a joint statement on Instagram.
The couple said at the time of separation,
“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception … feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring.”
“And so We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa came into a relationship in 2005 after meeting at a jazz club through their mutual friends. Jason first fell in love with Lisa while watching her on “The Cosby Show”.
Jason Momoa joked to James Corden on “The Late Late Show” in November 2017,
“Ever since I was 8 years old — I saw her on TV and I was like, ‘Mommy, I want that one,’. I was like, ‘I’m gonna stalk you for the rest of my life and I’m gonna get you.’ I just always wanted to meet her and she was the queen, always.”
They got married in October 2017. Jason told Entertainment Tonight,
“Some a—— leaked it. You know what, I’ve been married to my wife for 12 years. It’s just a gathering of our families and celebrating our love.”
Lisa Bonet has a daughter Zoe Kravitz with her ex-husband Lenny Kravitz. Jason said while speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet,
“Lisa couldn’t be here so we’re representing, me and the babies,. We’re very excited to just be here. … It’s still family, you know?”
