Veteran Telugu filmmaker K Viswanath Biography:- K Viswanath was an Indian film director, actor, and screenwriter. He was known for his works primarily in Telugu cinema. He was awarded the Prize of the Public at the Besancon Film Festival of France in 1981. He received the Padma Shri award from the Government of India in 1992.
He wn Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Natonal Film Award, Nargis Dutt Award, Best Feature Film in Telugu title. He won many Nandi Awards such as Second Best Story writer, Best Screenplay Writer, Best Story Writer, Best Director, Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, and Best Character Actor. He won CineMAA Award for lifetime achievement. He passed at the age of 92 in Hyderabad.

K Viswanath passed away at the age of 92 at a private hospital around midnight on 3 February 2023 in Hyderabad.
When his pulse got sharp drop then he was admitted to the hospital and he breathed his last a little around midnight. His remains were shifted to his residence in Jubilee Hills.
