Tino Chrupalla Illness – Tino Chrupalla is a German politician of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and a member of the Bundestag since 2017. In November 2019, he was nominated by Alexander Gauland to replace him as co-director and was subsequently selected for the position.
Since around 2019, Tino Chrupalla has served as administrator and chief representative for the AfD.
Currently, Tino Chrupalla is in the limelight because he was hospitalized following a suspected syringe attack which occurred shortly before he was due to speak at an election rally.

On October 4th, 2023, Tino Chrupalla was scheduled to speak at an election rally in Ingolstadt. However, before his speech, he collapsed and was taken to the intensive care unit of a local hospital. It was reported that he may have been attacked with a syringe, though it is still unclear whether this was the case or if he fell or became ill due to other reasons. The incident occurred just days after another member of his party, Alice Weidel, canceled a public rally due to concerns over potential attacks on her family.
A witness reported that Chrupalla took a few selfies before collapsing. A local representative of the party stated that Chrupalla had been caught up in a crowd melee. The Upper Bavarian Police Department is currently investigating the incident and has not yet ruled anything out.
