In the movie, a Hindu Malayali nurse (Fathima Ba) converted to Islam and joined ISIS and identifies to be one of the 32000 girls from the Hindu and Christian communities.

They are missing from Kerala and have been recruited to the Islamic States of Iraq and Syria.

The claimed figures are inaccurate because of mistranslations, misquotes, and extrapolations from misrepresentations of unrelated statistics.
