In 2018, it was reported that she underwent experimental stem-cell therapy to re-grow a breast she lost due to cancer. In 2020, she fractured her hip when she jumped off a private tram bound for her home.
Suzanne Somers died at her home in Palm Springs, California on 15 October 2023, one day before her 77th birthday. Earlier this year her breast cancer returned.
