Suniel Shetty seeks UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s help in removing Boycott Bollywood stigma: ‘Hum din bhar drugs nahi lete’
On 5 January 2023, in Mumbai, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty said that 99% of Bollywood don’t use drugs and focus on hard work to reach out to the people. It is so important to restore the image of the Bollywood industry by removing the trending hashtag #BoycottBollywood.
Suniel Shetty said to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath in Mumbai,
“This hashtag needs to be removed and there can be a rotten apple in the basket, but all of us are not like that. Our stories and our music connect to the world and hence the stigma needs to be removed. Please convey this message to PM, Narendra Modi, as well.”
As Bollywood movies face boycott calls on social media, the veteran actor’s comment comes. These days, a trend was seen during the release of the movie Pathaan’s Besharam Rang song.
So many people have called to boycott the film after coming to the song in which actress Deepika Padukone is dancing in a saffron bikini. Many people are presenting Deepika’s this dancing in a saffron bikini as a disrespect to the Hindu community.
CM Yogi visit Mumbai to promote Uttar Pradesh as the most film-friendly state in India.

Not only Suniel Shetty, even though, Ravi Kishan, and Jackie Shroff along with Jackie Bhagnaani, Rajpal Yadav, Boney Kapoor, Subash Ghai, and Sonu Nigam attended the meeting.
Boney Kapoor said that CM Yogi Adityanath has made Uttar Pradesh ‘crime free’ that’s why he has a great time shooting in UP. Boney Kapoor said,
“The film industry feels comfortable shooting in Uttar Pradesh because CM Adityanath has made the state ‘crime free’. I have made two films there already and intend to make more.”
Subhash Ghai stressed the need to focus on education in Uttar Pradesh. He said,
“You talk about infrastructure, which is a good thing, but education is also an important aspect that needs to be looked into. UP should not have to seek talent from outside and the kids who master the craft can themselves take the industry ahead.”
Akshay Kumar met CM Yogi on 4 January 2023 and talked about the upcoming film city in the northern state. Akshay urged Yogi to watch his latest film “Ram Setu”.
He also said the Hindi film industry was waiting for the opening of a film city that is being developed by the UP government as it will provide a new alternative.
