Comic Yoruba actor Sisi Quadri passed away at the age of 44 on 1 March 2024 after battling with kidney-related issues. The Nigerian film industry has lost one of its most talented actors Sisi Quadri who was known for his comic and feminine roles in Yoruba movies.

Comic Yoruba actor Sisi Quadri was born on 25 December 1979 in Iwo, Osun State. He completed his primary and high school studies in Ore, Ondo State. He started his career in the acting industry in minor roles and later gave his breakthrough performance in the movie “Seniyan Seranko in 2004 playing the role of a bombastic and insulting character. He appeared in many movies Aje Ni Eegun, Iya Oko Mi, Omo Iya Oko, and Anikulapo: The Return of Spectre.

Sisi Quadri was known for his ability to make people laugh with his expressions and gestures. He was also a producer, director, and scriptwriter, directing movies such as Omo Iya Oko 2, Omo Iya Oko 3, and Omo Iya Oko 4.

Sisi Quadri had been suffering from kidney-related issues for some time and had been admitted to the Ogbomosho Teaching Hospital. His health started deteriorating and passed away on 1 March 2024. Nollywood actress Abiola Bayo wrote on her verified Instagram handle,

“You will be greatly missed, Sisi Quadri. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”

Actor Tunde Yusu posted Sis Quadri’s photo and said,

Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Allah we have come and unto Him, we shall return. May God bless, rest your soul, bro.
