Ruth Madoc Cause Of Death – Margaret Ruth Llewellyn Baker better known as Ruth Madoc was a British actress whose career on stage and screen spanned over 60 years.

She appeared in the BBC television comedy Hi-de-hi! (1980–1988), for which he received a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Light Entertainment Performance. She was awarded an honorary degree by Swansea University in July 2006.

In December 2022, Madoc was set to appear in the pantomime Aladdin at the Princess Theatre, Torquay. However, on December 8, a statement posted on Madoc’s Instagram account confirmed that she had suffered a fall the prior week and was unable to appear in the production. Madoc died in the hospital the next day on 9 December 2022, at the age of 79.

Her agent, Phil Belfield, confirmed her death in a statement, and described her as a “unique talent adored by many”.

Noted actress Ruth Madoc passed away on 9 December 2022 after being rushed to the hospital following an accident. She was set to star in Torquay’s production of the holiday pantomime Aladdin, but she had to cancel earlier this week due to an injury.

However, she sadly revealed to followers that she was recovering the day before she died. After her incident, she posted on Instagram saying –

“Hi everyone please don’t worry!”

I am well and will be back to normal soon but sadly @princessstheatretorquay will not be performing Queen Gladys in the Christmas panto this year.

“I’m feeling great and will be back to normal soon, I promise.”

Madoc’s PA, Phil Belfield of talent agency Belfield & Ward Ltd released a statement on her passing –

“Ruth passed away on the afternoon of Friday 9 December while in hospital following surgery following a fall earlier in the week which had forced her to withdraw from the panto in Torquay.
