Pepe Lienhard Wife – Peter Rudolf Lienhard popularly known as Pepe Lienhard is a talented Swiss bandleader and musician, who has had a remarkable career in the music industry. He first founded a band called “The College Stompers” while he was still in school, showcasing his passion for music at a young age. Even though he studied law at university, he left without a degree in 1969 to pursue his true calling in music.
He went on to establish the Pepe Lienhard Band, a professional big band sextet, which released numerous albums over the years. Their first major success came with the hit “Sheila Baby”. In 1977, the band participated in the Eurovision Song Contest and came in sixth place with the song “Swiss Lady”.
Lienhard’s talents have been recognized by many notable artists in the industry. He has accompanied Udo Jurgens on his tours since 1982 and has made several appearances with other famous stars such as Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra.
Moreover, he has collaborated with the trio of sibling composers Diego Baldenweg, Nora Baldenweg, and Lionel Baldenweg, playing the saxophone parts for the score to Rolf Lyssy’s feature film “Die Letzte Pointe” (The Final Touch). The soundtrack was awarded Finalist for “Best Feature Film Score” at the Music + Sound Awards (International).
