Paul Mackenzie Arrested – Shakahola Malindi Cult
Paul Mackenzie Nthenge got arrested on 15 April 2023 after he told his followers to starve themselves to death to meet Jesus.
As per investigation and reports, 7 people including 5 children and two women passed away due to starvation after following the advice of Paul Mackenzie.
Police have dug out 21 bodies from the Shakahola forest in Malindi town of Eastern Kenya.

Paul Mackenzie is in police custody and awaiting a court appearance.
As per sources, Paul recited three villages (Nazareth, Judea, and Bethlehem) before baptizing people in ponds and asking them to starve to death.
Pathologists are collecting DNA samples from dead bodies to determine whether all of them died of starvation or another way.
Police were informed that ignorant people were starving to death in the Shakahola forest. Police were able to rescue 7 men and 4 women.
Police arrested Paul and his 6 associates. Now, Paul has gone on a hunger strike while in police custody.
He has not eaten since homicide detectives widened an inquiry. Paul refused to take even a glass of water on claims that he is fasting and praying.
Police reported his arrest last Saturday 15 April 2023 after discovering the bodies of four followers he told to starve themselves in order to meet Jesus.
The victims were identified as Allan Obiero, Wycliffe Waimoi, Mercy Aoko, Paul Karisa, Jane Nyambura, Alfred Shitemi, Felix Wandera, David Abuhaya, Collins Kabaye, Monica Masika and an unknown adult female.
