Socialism And Problems

What Should Socialism Mean in the Twenty-First Century? by Nancy Fraser has the advantage of being historically situated and theoretically organised in its discourse on socialism. It is historically located since it explicitly states that it belongs to a certain political context in the first paragraph. Which is to say, that context was established by the strong development of the US socialist movement following the economic recession of 2007–2008, and this was true of both the Democratic Socialists of America and the Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez iterations of the movement.
