He started to play in the NBA as an undrafted in 2012. He was selected 1st overall in the 1st round by the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters in the 2015 PBA Draft.

WHEN THE PBA ALLOWED HIM TO PLAY AGAIN, I WAS ACRUALLY
ROOTING FOR HIM AND SAID THAT EVERYONE DESERVES SECOND
CHANCES. HE CLEARLY DID NOT CHANGE.
NOT TO MENTION, HIS LOCKER ROOM WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF
THE ARENA. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHY HE CAME TO
THE SMB DUGOUT AND WAS STANDING THERE.”
