Manoj Kumar Sharma secured 3rd division in 9th class and 10th. He passed the 11th class by cheating in the final exams but he failed in the 12th in all the subjects except for the Hindi subject.
He saw the interview at UPSC and got motivated for civil services. He became one by clearing the MPPSC exams and moved to Gwalior to pursue his graduation and PCS exams. He started preparing for the UPSC exams while working as a driver of tempo to sustain himself becasue of belonged to a poor family.
As he completed his graduation, he shifted to New Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar where he started to earn income by taking dogs on walks for Rs 400. Later he worked as a peon in the Library for preparing UPSC. He was pained 300 per month for working in the library.
