Hello! How are you? We hope, you will be well but the family of Manohar Joshi’s is not good because Former Maharashtra chief minister and Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi suffered a cardiac arrest on 22 February 2024.

His health had been deteriorating since May 2023 after he suffered a brain hemorrhage which led him into the ICU in Hinduja Hospital where he had been in a semi-conscious state for a couple of days.
During that time, the doctors saw little hope of recovery so he was said to retreat to his Shivaji Park home where he had been under care. At the age of 86, he passed away on 23 February 2024 at around 3 am due to age-related health complications after suffering from cardiac arrest.
His passing news was confirmed by the P D Hinduja Hospital chief operating officer Joy Chakravarty. In the statement, Joy said,
“Manohar Joshi, Ex-Chief Minister of Maharashtra, was admitted at PD Hinduja Hospital on 21st February 2024. He suffered a cardiac event and is severely ill. He is currently in the ICU under close observation and receiving the best of medical care.”

Manohar Joshi Wife, Anagha Joshi, Children, Son, Daughters
Manohar Joshi was married to Anagha Joshi on 14 Mary 1964 in Mumbai. His wife Anagha passed away on 3 August 2020 at the age of 75 at his residence Dadar Shivaji Park at 11 pm after a short illness. Manohar’s wife Anagha Joshi was born on 2 January 1945. Her real name was Anagha Mangal Higve.
When Manohar decided to marry Anagha in a girl-watching event, then his family put a condition in front of Anagha Joshi’s family that the child would have to pay a dowry in the marriage. At that time, Manohar was so afraid because he was thinking that their marriage would be done or not.
A boy Pant used to like Anagha very much so when he knew about the condition of dowry which Manohar’s family put, then he met Anagha’s brother directly after fighting with Shakkal.
Pant gave the dowry to Anagha’s brother and told him to keep all this secret. Then Anagha’s brother gave the dowry to Manohar’s family in the marriage.
Manohar and his wife were blessed with a son and two daughters.

Manohar’s son Unmesh Joshi said about his father to Hindustan Times,
“He had been admitted to the ICU and was under observation. He had cardiac trouble on Wednesday. He had prolonged age-related health issues. We will be performing last rites at Shivaji Park crematorium and before this, the mortal remains will be brought to our house in Matunga.”
Manohar Joshi’s daughters are Asmita Joshi and Namrata Joshi. He had a granddaughter named Sharvari Wagh who is an actress and made her debut with the 2021 film Bunty Aur Babli 2. He had a grandson named Abhishek.
Manohar Joshi is survived by his son, two daughters, a granddaughter, a grandson, and a son-in-law Girish Vyas.
