Recently Kapil Sharma revealed in his release stand-up act on an OTT platform, that once he had to Cost him about Rs 9 lakh for his ‘drunk tweet’ to PM Narendra Modi 5 years ago. This was his most controversial and Viral Tweet.

This tweet was said in 2016 tweet to the PM had Kapil complaining about BMC. His tweet says, “I am paying Rs 15 cr income tax from last 5-year n still I have to pay 5 lacs to bribe to BMC office for making my office @narendramodi.”

Kapil shared a glimpse of his infamous tweet to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which he accepted was a drunk tweet. “I left for the Maldives instantly, I lived there for 8-9 days. The moment I reached the Maldives, I asked them for a room with no internet. They asked, ‘Have you got married?’ I replied, ‘No, I just tweeted.’ My stay cost me Rs 9 lakhs, which I didn’t even spend on my education. That one line cost me that much”.

Misbehaving with female co-stars

Back in 2015, Kapil was accused of misbehaving with his female co-stars. It happened during the International Marathi Film Festival Awards 2015. He behaved inappropriately with Tanishaa Mukherjee, and Monali Thakur and amongst other actors. The comedian Kapil refused to comment on the incident but later tweeted regarding the matter.

Kapil Sharma’s Clash With Sunil Grover 

This marks as one of the biggest clash between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover’s life and also in the tv industry. Reportedly, under the influence of alcohol, Kapil assaulted Sunil and Chandan Prabhakar, on their flight back from Melbourne, Australia.

As per sources, Kapil Sharma ended up physically and verbally offending Sunil Grover, while he remained calm.

The 2 actors tweeted regarding the matter, making the fight public. Sunil played the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati, left Kapil Sharma’s show and the 2 haven’t been seen sharing screen-space since.
