Education

Bowen, who grew up in the Maryland neighbourhood of Ruxton-Riderwood, first attended Calvert School before transferring to Roland Park then Garrison, and St. George’s School in Middletown, Rhode Island. At Brown University, Julie pursued a study of the Italian Renaissance. She spent her junior year in Florence, Italy. While in college, she performed in Guys and Dolls, Stage Door, and Lemon Sky.
