Jenny Cavnar is an American sports broadcaster. She is the television play-by-play announcer of the Oakland Athletics of MLB. Jenny has become the first female primary MLB play-by-play announcer in history. She is also a play-by-play announcer for men’s and women’s college basketball on Fox Sports 1 and the Pac-12 Network.

NBC Sports California hired Veteran baseball broadcaster Jenny Cavnar as the new primary play-by-play announcer for the Oakland Athletics.
The announcement was made on 13 February 2024. Jenny has become the first woman in MLB history in a quarter-century to handle primary play-by-play duties.

“It is a dream come true to join the broadcast team for the Oakland A’s and their rich baseball history. Growing up the daughter of a baseball coach, I have loved the game from a young age, along with the stories, history and relationships the game provides.
