Jason Corbett was hit 20 times by his wife Molly and her father Thomas with the bat and a brick which caused his death. Jason passed away on 2 August 2015 at the age of 39 in Davidson County, North Carolina, U.S.
Thomas Martens called the police on 2 August 2015 claiming that Jason Corbett was abusive to Molly. He also claimed that he just “I MAY HAVE KILLED HIM.” Thomas claimed it was self-defense.
However, they both were found guilty on 9 August 2017 on a second-degree murder charge. They were sentenced to a minimum of 20 years.
