Hali Long Parents – Hali Long is a footballer. She plays as a center-back and represents the Philippines women’s national team. She won the bronze medal at The 2021 Vietnam Southeast Asian Games. She won the gold medal at the 2022 Philippines AFF Women’s Championship. In his college days, she played for the Little Rock Trojans team from 2013 to 2016 and made 71 appearances doing a goal.
Hali is honored to have co-captained the Philippines team. As a co-captain, she played at the Fifa Women’s World Cup where her team ended in a 6-0 loss to Norway on Sunday at Eden Park here.
She said after the match,
“Even going back to the SEA Games in 2017 and 2019, me and Camrod (former teammate Camille Rodriguez) were crying every national anthem.”

I mean, it’s everything, it’s the pride and honor you have to represent your country everywhere on the global stage—as an underdog, as a beauty queen, as a boxer, as a weightlifter, as a futbolera.”
“It’s an utmost honor to, one, bring the Lupang Hinirang here, bring the Philippine flag here for the first time [in the World Cup] and to be able to be on the pitch to do that. It’s just that definite highlight of my life.”

Hali Long was born on 21 January 1995 to David Long (Father) and Lilie Candido (Mother) in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, U.S. Her parents uses to express their pride in their daughter’s dedication, hard work, and achievements.

Her mother has been a traveling physical therapist at Comphealth since March 2019. Hali’s mother completed her bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College in 1984.
She served at St Joseph Medical Centre as a physical therapist for a year in 1987 and moved to Southeast MO Hospital in Missouri. She worked for more than 12 years there.
