Gracie Spinks was born on 19 October 1997 to Richard Spinks (Father) and Alison Spinks (Mother) in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. She had a brother named Thomas who was born 16 months after her birth. Gracie’s parents separated when she was 5 years old in 2002.
However, she had been so close to her parents and enjoyed a busy life having a close bond with them. Gracie had a half-sister Abi who was born in 2006 to Alison and Alison’s partner Dave.

Gracie Spinks’ father and mother are Richard and Alison. Gracie passed out from Dronfield Swimming School. Later she became a swimming teacher and lifeguard.
She started horse riding at the age of 11 and she had her own horse Amber who was taught to jump by Gracie. Gracie competed in many shows, winning rosettes. Her horse Amber passed away in 2019. Later she competed with her horse Paddy.

What happened to Gracie Spinks?
Gracie Spinks was stabbed to death by an alleged stalker on 18 June 2021. The murderer was her former colleague Michael Sellers (35 years old at the time of her death). He killed her tending to her horse in a field in Duckmanton, Derbyshire on 18 June 2021.
Before her death, a bag containing a hammer, an axe, and some knives was handed to the police after being found close to where Gracie was killed. Gracie Spinks’ parents said that the bag contained a receipt with information linked to Michael Sellers. The IOPC said,
“We have determined that disciplinary proceedings in the form of a misconduct meeting should be brought against each officer.”
Even, Gracie reported Michael to the police in February 2021 and officers spoke to both of them as part of their inquiries.
After killing her, Michael took his own life. He lived at home in Sheffield with his parents and sister.
