Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury Update

Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury Update:-

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis traveled to New York on Monday for further testing on his injured right wrist, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, and tests revealed a wrist sprain. Giannis will undergo treatment on the wrist and miss some games as he deals with the issue.

However, the injury doesn’t seem like one that will jeopardize Gianni’s season, which is obviously good news for Milwaukee.

Giannis injured his wrist in Milwaukee’s final game before the All-Star break. Early in the second quarter of the contest against the Chicago Bulls, Giannis went for a layup by Coby White and made an awkward fumble around the basket poles.

Giannis was born on 6, December 1994, in Athens, Greece the son of immigrants from Nigeria. Gianni’s father had been a soccer player in Nigeria, while his mother was a high jumper, Three years earlier, they had moved from Lagos, leaving their first son, Francis, in the care of Gianni’s grandparents.

As a result of Gianni’s injury, Antetokounmpo did not participate in the Skills Challenge at All-Star Saturday Night in Salt Lake City.

Bucks point guard Junior Holiday replaced him on Team Antetokounmpos, along with Gianni’s brothers, Thanasis and Alex. Unfortunately, the trio finished last in the event.

Giannis was a bit more involved on Sunday. Giannis played the first 20 seconds of the All-Star Game and scored one basket, but did most of Gianni’s work pre-game as he fulfilled Gianni’s duties as a captain during the All-Star Draft.

Giannis ended up picking the winning team, as Team Antetokounmpo defeated Team LeBron 184–175, thanks in part to a record-setting 55-point performance by Jayson Tatum.
