Billy Chemirmir – Billy Chemirmir’s full name was Billy Kipkorir Chemirmir. He was a Kenyan convicted murderer. He was a suspected serial killer accused of the murders of elderly women in Dallas. He was indicted for 11 murders and convicted for two.
Billy Chemirmir was born on 8 December 1972 in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County, Kenya to the long-serving village chief. Billy had convictions for driving under the influence in Addison and Dallas in 2010 and 2011.
Billy Chemirmir received fines and short custodial sentences. He was arrested for physical assault on a female companion in July 2012 and in June 2016 for trespassing at Edgemere Retirement Community. Billy pleaded no contest to both charges later that year.
Billy Chemirmir was arrested in March 2018 because he was accused of smothering an 81-year-old woman to death. In May 2019, Billy was indicted on 11 additional counts of capital murder. His trial was set for 5 April 2021 on 19 November 2021.

Later, his trial was delayed to 12 November 2021. His trial started on 15 November 2021. The judge declared a mistrial on 7 February 2021 due to an 11-1 jury deadlock. Billy’s retrial started on 25 April 2022.
Billy Chemirmir was convicted of the murder of Lu Thi Harris on 28 April 2022. He was sentenced to life in prison. Billy was killed by a fellow inmate on 19 September 2023 at the Coffield Unit in Tennessee Colony at the age of 50.
