Aniksha Jaisinghani is the daughter of Anil Jaisinghani. The Mumbai Police on Thursday arrested her. A case has been registered against them by the Malabar Hill Police Station on February 20 under section 120 (b) (conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988.
Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has filed an FIR against a designer Aniksha Jaisinghani who allegedly tried to bribe Amruta to the tune of Rs 1 crore to intervene in a criminal case.
Who is Aniksha Jaisinghani?
Aniksha Jaisinghani is a designer. She is known as the daughter of wanted bookie Anil Jaisinghani. India Today says that she is a law graduate and a resident of Ulhasnagar in the Thane district of Maharashtra. Many cases including betting, threatening, and cheating have been registered against the father of Aniksha Jaisinghani. Her father Anil Jaisinghani is currently said to be absconding.

According to India Today news Aniksha was trying to connect with people to help her father and she posed as a designer to meet Amruta Fadnavis and win her sympathy. Amruta Fadnavis has said in her FIR that Aniksha had met her several times before offering her the bribe to get her father off the hook.
According to FIR, Aniksha and Amrita were in touch for the past 16 months.
