Adam Chowdhury Parents – Adam Chowdhary, also known as ‘Boy B’ in the Yousef Makki murder case, is a man who was found not guilty of lying to police about the fatal stabbing of a schoolboy named Yousef Makki. On March 2, 2019, Yousef Makki, 17, was killed in a fight with his friend, Joshua Molnar, also 17, in Hale Barns, Cheshire.

Adam Chowdhury Parents: Who Are They?
Adam Chowdhary, also known as ‘Boy B’, is a young man whose identity was kept under wraps in a high-profile court case due to legal protections for minors involved in criminal proceedings. However, his anonymity automatically expired on his 18th birthday, which was on 24 January 2020. Despite this, Chowdhary sought to extend his anonymity until he completed his education in November 2021.
Unfortunately for him, the High Court dismissed his application, citing the “public interest in open justice” as the main reason. The judge further explained that since Chowdhary had admitted to possessing a knife, a serious offense, there was a “strong public interest in knowing the identity of those who commit serious offenses.”

This case highlights the delicate balance between an individual’s right to privacy and the public’s interest in the open administration of justice. It also underscores the importance of knowing the identity of those who commit serious offenses as a means of maintaining transparency in the criminal justice system.
