On February 9, 2023, an incident was noticed by a school teacher that a six-year-old child brought a gun to his elementary school in Norristown, Pennsylvania. His mother got in trouble after the incident because she illegally possessed a gun and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and failing to properly secure a firearm.
The investigation later revealed that Devlin had ‘bought the firearm with straw’. Originally, the illegal gun was bought by another person and then exchanged with another for goods and services other than money. In this particular case, Jasmin’s gun was originally purchased by Joseph Rudnistkas, who exchanged it with a drug dealer for marijuana, ecstasy, and cocaine. Jasmin later bought guns from such illegal sources.
Police Chief Michael Bishop said;
“This incident is a frightening reminder of the fact that children can and do find unsecured firearms in a home, and they play with them”.
Who is Jasmin Devlin?
Jasmin Devlin is a resident of Norristown, Pennsylvania she is 30 years old and is living her life happily but an incident happened in her life that she could never forget. His ten-year-old son got a gun illegally in his possession and then his younger son who studies in an elementary school brought his gun to school and his teacher caught him with the gun. The 30-year-old woman later stepped forward and took out a loaded gun from her drawer in the middle of the night.

He brought his mother’s gun and when he was trying to show the gun to his friends, he caught hold of the teacher and immediately reported it to the school authorities.
