According to reports, Edgar Ismalej was seen burying his son’s remains in a local park. Law enforcement officials said that the man allegedly held the child’s mother at gunpoint for the past week. In connection to the murder case, the officials detained the 26-year-old man on Monday night. He was arraigned Tuesday in the state Superior Court in Stamford on violating a probation charge. The deceased child was identified as Liam Rivera by the officials.

Why Did He Kill His Son, Liam Rivera?
They said that they found him in a plastic bag buried beneath a fresh patch of dirt in Cummings Park on Monday. The place where the child’s body was discovered happens to be a 15-minute drive from Belltown Road. According to the police, the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled the boy’s death a homicide by multiple blunt force injuries to the head. However, the officials have refused to say whether the boy’s mother will face charges or not.
