According to the sources, The death of a 28-year-old woman happened on 12 October 2019 at her home when the Fort Worth Police officer was in charge of a welfare check. He went to her home after a report in which someone reported that her front door was half opened by her neighbor by calling 911. Dean agreed on the stand when asked to evaluate his work on that night. Now the Jurors decide that it was necessary to use deadly force when he killed Jefferson with the gunshot for his own life.

After shot the 28 years old woman in 2019, he was arrested and charged with the murder of Jefferson. Prosecutors had claimed that he intentionally murdered her, her 11-year-old nephew Zion Carr stated last week he was still there on the night of the shooting while playing video games with his aunt. He also stated that after cooking hamburgers they opened the doors and windows and when his aunt heard a sound from his backyard he recalled that she grabbed a gun and said the weapon pointed in her direction when dean fired the shot.
