Many families are considered the bedrock of society, where love, care, and bonding thrive. However, not all families enjoy the luxury of that statement. Shahzad Dawood was born in February 1975. He was a Pakistani businessman investor and philanthropist. Dawood and his 19 years old son Suleman were killed alongside three others when the Titanic Submersible imploded during a tourist expedition to view the wreck of the Titanic on 18 June 2023. Dawood became a Malteses citizen in 2016 and go through an individual investor programme.
Shahzada Dawood was married to Christine Dawood whom he had two children Sulema and Alina. Christine worked as a Psychologist and life coach and wrote a blog post in January 2019 describing a horrific flight she and Shahzada once endured which plunged twice and left her husband fearing for his life.
Media reports indicate that Dawood had a keen interest in investigating natural habitats and renewable energies. He was described as a Photography enthusiast particularly passionate about wildlife photography and exploring different natural habitats.
The United States Coast Guard confirmed that they had found debris from the bow is the Titanic that was consistent with a catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber and concluded that the passenger aboard the Titan Dawood and his son Suleman had three other passengers.
