Reportedly, as per Section (139AA) of the Income Tax Act, every person who has been assigned an endless account number (PAN), and who is suitable to get an Aadhaar number needs to link their Aadhaar with PAN. This applies to people who were rationed a PAN on or before 1st July 2017. The linking of Aadhaar and PAN is compulsory before the stipulated date, which is now converted on June 30, 2023.
