She passed away at the age of 35. Duluth Musician, activist, and therapist Diona Johnson is deceased. What happened to her and why is she getting in the news main headlines? Diona Johnson

Diano Johnson was a healing person. She was a kind and pure-hearted person and also a holistic person who tried to heal everyone and wanted to take out their grief and depression and she did. She was a multitasking person who maintain and manage most of the work. Diana was born in St.paul but adopted by a large multicultural family. She also gave the statement about even though growing up was chaotic, loud, and crowded but interesting and sometimes fun her childhood was difficult because she had to take therapy.

Who Was Diona Johnson?

Diana Johnson was a singer, songwriter, therapist, and activist. She graduated from Wisconsin Stout and a master’s degree in social work. She comes to Duluth after her graduation for a  job at Northwood Children’s Services which led to a student therapist and intercultural specialist at the College of St. Scholastica. Diona was married to Karrel in the summer of 2022. Diona was the leader of AafroGeode and the Gemstones also a clinical therapist and a vocal advocate for Duluth Black and LGBT communities. Over more than a decade in Duluth, she became now the most widely admirable voice musically and in other things also. Johnson told that her mental health advocacy was driven by her lived experience as a Black, Queer, Fat person. These are the communities that I claim and do my best to protect, and these are the lives, families, and futures that are in need of and deserving of protection from systemic oppression, phobias, and isms. Her sudden death shocking news for everyone and what is the reason for her death is not revealed yet but from the sources, we get to know that she had a pulmonary embolism and this thing come when she had surgery on her broken ankle.
