Thomas Randolph Bell is his real name and he was born on the 26 January 1943 in Kingston, Jamaica. He was living with his wife named Vanessa Bell and with his children Royal, Troy, Tia, Mark, Cybell, and Christopher. He was most popular for his success with the Philadelphia sound in the 1970s.

From an early age, he was trained as a musician and moved to Philadelphia as a child. He produced lots of music and was great at songwriting which is too much liked by the people. He was also known as one co-creators of the Sound of Philadelphia along with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff they all became Three Mighty co-creators.

He was introduced to a local group named The Delfonics in 1967 and then he moved on and joins another group in 1971. He produced too many which helps him to make his name around the world. He gained too much love from the people and now their loved ones are sharing their love for him.
